Brief
Quartier Bleu combines approximately 400 apartments and 50 retail spaces with a large underground car park, by the water in Hasselt.
ELC is responsible for the general electrical installations, the lighting, the cabling and the technical installations of both the residential and the retail parts.
Scope
Challenges and approach
Living and retail on one site
Retail spaces and homes each have their own supply, metering and programme.
Separate distribution per zone, so retail and housing can be handed over independently.
Car park under the entire site
The underground car park runs under several building blocks.
Cable routes and lighting per parking section, aligned with the phasing above ground.
Hundreds of similar units
Many identical installations, with little room for error.
Standardised distribution boards and a fixed work sequence per floor.
